DESCRIPTION:Alliance to Combat Torture (ACT) & Dignity Law Chambers are organizing a workshop titled “Understanding Prevention of Torture – Law & Policy” in connection with the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture on 22 June 2026 (Monday) ata 3.30 pm . This workshop will particularly focus on the custodial torture\, extrajudicial killings and other unlawful practices\, their impacts on the society and the need for reforms in the national legal practices and policy frameworks. \nWe would be pleased to have students\, legal & medical practitioners\, human rights activists and people from other segments of society in this training workshop to thoroughly discuss our national policies\, relevant legal instruments and explore further avenues in research and policy for the prevention of torture and other unlawful practices prevalent in our society. \n22 June 2026 (Monday) ata 3.30 pm\nVenue HRCP
